The definition of compressive therapy is a specific mechanical pressure on a body part, which reduces veins diameter and enables complete closure of venous valves<\/strong> and the blood to flow faster and smoother to the heart.<\/p>\n

The effect of compressive therapy is intensified when combined with physical activity, because it additionally boosts the activity of the muscle pump. Contractions of the surrounding muscles compress the deep veins, blood is pushed to upper veins and further to the heart. In this way, the deep veins are emptied from the bottom up and lower parts are then filled with the blood from superficial veins.<\/p>\n
