User guide for SimBex mobile application

SimBex mobile application is free of charge and it is available for iOS and Android. Download the application through the following links:

After downloading and installing, the application is ready to use.

The SimBex application consists of four larger modules:

  1. Info
  2. Exercises
  3. Log
  4. Products

In Info module, the user can find out more about the causes and types of incontinence, prevention, types of aids and their proper application, skin care, etc.

Exercises module offer detailed information and instructions for pelvic floor muscle exercises. The exercise program is divided into categories, wherein each category has its own purpose (discovering the pelvic floor muscles, strengthening, training, etc.)

After performing a certain exercise, the user is offered the possibility to save the information about the same in Log. The exercises described in the application effectively help with stress incontinence, but also in improving potency in men.

The Log module consists of two parts – Product Log and Exercise Log.

Through the exercise log, you have the ability to keep track of the number of performed exercises. The exercise log shows the number of performed exercises for the last 7, 30 and 365 days.

Adding a new entry to the log can be done in two ways.

  1. Open the log and at the top of the screen pick Exercises. In the upper right corner, choose Add. The window Add exercise will open. In the menu, select the exercise you have performed, enter the number of repetitions and the date you want, and click Save.
  2. Open the Exercises module and select the exercise you want to work on. After you go through all the steps of the exercise you have selected, click Exercise done.

By selecting a specific date the Details window opens that contains information about the exercise entry. In case you want to change a particular entry, you must select the date and in the Details window select the exercise entry you want to edit.

Through the product log, you have the ability to keep track of the number of used products. Adding a new entry to the log can be done in two ways.

  1. Open the log and at the top of the screen pick Products. In the upper right corner, choose Add. The window Add product will open. In the menu, select the product you are using, enter the amount of product and the date you want, and click Save.
  2. Open the Products module and choose the product you are using. In the upper right corner you can find Save. Selecting Save opens the Add product window, in which the name of the product is already entered. You only need to fill in the information on the amount and the date and select Save.

The product log shows the number of used products for the last 7, 30 and 365 days. In the same window, the product usage per day is also displayed. By selecting a specific date the Details window opens that contains information about the product entry. In case you want to change a particular product entry, you must select the date and in the Details window select the product entry you want to edit.

The Product module contains a list of incontinence aids, as well as cosmetics for good and quality skin care. Incontinence aids include:

  • Pull-ups (pants)
  • All-in-one briefs
  • Pads
  • Underpads

Cosmetics is also divided in categories:

  • Creams and lotions
  • Special creams and ointments
  • Washing without water
  • Washing with water

Detailed information on application, packaging, size / quantity, etc. is given for each product.

In addition to the list of products in this module, there is also a questionnaire through which the user can get information about the aid that best suits his needs.
